Register for TGE

How to Register Your EVM Address for the Upcoming TGE

Why is the TGE happening on an EVM chain?

To access deeper liquidity and a broader user base, our upcoming TGE will take place on an EVM-compatible chain (to be announced). This allows for better token distribution and simplifies technical integration with our liquidity partners.

If you’re an existing $SIDE holder and want to access liquidity after TGE, you must register your EVM (0x) address by August 15th.

How to Register Your EVM (0x) Address

Step 1: Install or Update the Side Wallet

  • If you haven’t already, download the Side Wallet here:

  • If you already have it, ensure it’s updated to the latest version.

    • Go to Settings > About

    • Confirm that your version is v1.1.2.

Step 2: Register Your Address

  1. Open the Side Wallet and switch to Mainnet.

  2. On the home screen, look for the “Register for TGE” banner and tap it.

  3. On the EVM Address Registration page:

    • Enter the amount of $SIDE you want to commit for the TGE.

    • Enter your EVM (0x) address.

  4. Confirm and submit the transaction.

Please Note:

  • You must use the Side Wallet to complete registration - this ensures your transaction is properly recorded in our database. However, you do not need to import your existing mnemonic into the Side Wallet. You can also send SIDE from other Bitcoin wallets by connecting to station.side.one.

  • All submitted $SIDE will be permanently reserved for token burns. This action is irreversible.

  • You won’t receive the new tokens immediately. Distribution details will be announced closer to the EVM-based TGE.

  • Information on bridging tokens back to your Bitcoin address will be shared at a later stage.
