The team has chosen a unique two-phase launch strategy for the $SIDE token.

First, $SIDE will be issued using the SPL token standard on Solana — yes, you read that right.

Launching tokens on an established ecosystem before the mainnet ensures broader distribution and accessibility to a large user base. Solana’s strong liquidity, high on-chain activity, and engaged community make it the perfect choice for this phase.

Once the Side Chain mainnet goes live (expected in January 2025), SPL $SIDE tokens will be convertible to native mainnet tokens. Holders will then be able to stake their tokens for rewards and actively participate in governance.
